Crispy Pan Roasted Chicken Thighs

 what i like? superb crispy chook pores and skin.
no longer sorta crispy. Don’t attempt to inform me your pores and skin is crispy when it’s now not. I gained’t be fooled.
Oh, and don’t serve me up breaded hen that has the breading half falling off both. again, I can't be fooled.
I need excellent crispy seasoned pores and skin.
perfectly crisp with just the right amount of kosher salt deliciousness.

Crispy Pan Roasted Chicken Thighs


  • 4 bone-in skin-on chicken thighs
  • Kosher salt
  • 1 tablespoons coconut oil

  • Fresh cracked black pepper


  1. Preheat oven to 425 stages.
  2. Lay out bird thighs and trim off any more pores and skin.
  3. cover the pores and skin of the chook with a preferred amount of kosher salt and black pepper.
  4. In a small (oven safe!) skillet set over medium warmness add coconut oil. permit the oil soften and get warm.
  5. as soon as the oil is warm add chicken into the skillet, pores and skin facet down. The oil wishes to be warm enough so that whilst you location the bird into the oil it sizzles.
  6. let the chook cook for 10 minutes.
  7. After 10 mins location the chicken inside the oven for any other 5 minutes.
  8. After 5 minutes turn the chook and cook dinner for every other 10-12 minutes or until the bird is fully cooked.
